Flaming Elephant

I've made a few little elephants before, but I never realised that anyone might actually want my flaming elephant like on my business card. And when asked to make one, the main question in my head was how do I get the flames on the elephant's butt? Well, you can see that I did figure that out.

He's just a bit over 2 1/2" high. Hand sewn from hand dyed purple and orange wool felt, with blue wool/rayon felt for the ears, and 100% wool felt in white for the tiny tusks. The eyes are onyx beads.

Pink It Is

A crown fit for a princess. This fun crown is double sided. One side is a beautiful hand-dyed pinks and blues, and the other is quality gold wool felt. Machine stitched together around the edges with a ribbon tie. The fabric jewels are made on one side with two layers of a gorgeous shimmery deep red fabric and on the other side four layers of Primrose Organza covered with tulle for added depth, then stitched through both sides of the crown at the same time for a truly double sided crown. Very colorful, durable and fun! Ribbon tie in back.

The crown itself is 19 3/4 inches long and 3 inches tall at the center. Made from quality wool/rayon felt, tulle, and hand-dyed cotton.

A Crown of Stars

Like a beautiful starry night. This fun crown is double sided. One side is a beautiful hand-dyed blues with gold lamé stars, and the other is quality deep blue hand dyed wool felt covered with a layer of tulle for added depth with brilliant white felt stars. Machine stitched together around the edges with a ribbon tie. The fabric for the stars are layered on each side, stitched through, trimmed, then stitched again for a truly double sided crown. Very colorful, durable and fun! Ribbon tie in back.

Primrose Organza Streamer

Streamers are just fun to play with, and this one almost seems to float by itself.

Made from Primrose Organza, the streamer is 8" wide and around 10' long, all edges are firmly stitched. The handle is made a wood dowel, 7/16" in diameter by 22" long, with smoothed corners and painted pink to match. The streamer is attached to the handle with a brass swivel so it spins freely.

Coral Beauty Angelfish

This adorable little angelfish loves to swim.

Carefully hand sewn from quality hand-dyed purple and orange wool felt. Each of his stripes is carefully hand stitched in place. His fins are detailed with blue and orange embroidery. And he comes with a handy little hanging loop so he can keep swimming.

The angelfish is 3 1/4 inches long from tip to tail. black onyx beads are used for the eyes. Stuffed with plastic pellets.

Grey Teddy Bear with Butterfly

Notice the little yellow butterfly on the back of this guy's right leg? Is it a tatoo? or a real butterfly?

Carefully hand sewn from quality grey wool felt with yellow paws and ears. And of course the butterfly is yellow felt too, with a bit of embroidery for it's body.

This jointed miniature teddy bear stands approximately 4 1/2 inches tall. Onyx beads are used for the eyes. Stuffed with plastic pellets.

White Wool Felt Mouse

This cute mouse was carefully hand sewn from quality wool felt. The mouse is 7 inches long from nose to tip of tail. Onyx beads are used for the eyes. Stuffed with plastic pellets.

The white felt is 100% wool. With white felt this is the only felt that I've found that is sufficiently sturdy for crafting such as this. The peach underbelly is a quality wool/rayon blend felt.

This is NOT a cat toy. I know, trust me. I made one similiar to this once for my sweet, charming cat. It did not fair well.
